Frequently
asked
questions
For weddings & engagements In South Wales, Cotswolds & South West

Do I need to pay a deposit?
A non-refundable booking fee of £500 is required to secure your date. Once it’s paid, I’m booked and yours for the day! The balance is due one month before your wedding date.
My wedding isn't near you, do you travel?
YES! I love to travel and am very happy to photograph your wedding wherever you are. Travel within Wales & England is included in the price.
Are you insured?
Absolutely. I have full insurance.
Do you have back up equipment?
Yes, I do. I have 2 cameras, spare memory cards, batteries, and a selection of lenses.
Do we need 2 photographers?
A second photographer is good if you would like the groom preparations to be covered as well as the bridal preparations and also to give another angle of view on your day. I usually recommend a second photographer if you have over 100 guests so none of the action is missed!
There is a charge of £400 for a second photographer.
Can we meet you before our wedding day?
Yes! I love to meet up before your day to go over the details of your day and go over any questions you’ll have I like to ensure I know timings, details about the venue, plus important shots you will want I’ll be just as excited about your day as you are!
We can meet somewhere suitable for both of us, if it is possible meeting at your venue is always lovely!
If distance doesn’t allow us to meet, we can have a Zoom meeting.
Do you do an engagement shoot?
Yes! An Engagement shoot is a nice way to get the feel for how I work whilst also having some beautiful images to celebrate your engagement! A couple shoot always helps to put couples at ease being photographed – which I know is daunting but honestly, I make it feel so easy and fun!
The photos could also be used for ‘Save The Date’ cards!
Will you require a meal?
If I am working for more than 6 hours, then I require a meal please. This will also apply to a second photographer should you request one.
Can we order albums?
Yes. I offer a beautiful range of albums, including mini duplicate albums you might want to give as gifts to your new In-laws!
Once you have seen your gallery you can choose which images you would like to go into your album, and I will design the layout for you.
Look at my albums page for more info on the lovely albums you can have!
When will we get our images?
I do a preview for you usually within the first week after your wedding! Then I aim to get your complete gallery to you within 12 weeks. During very busy times this may be longer, but I know how much you will be wanting them and try my best to have them ready within the timescale.
Can we print our images?
Absolutely! You get your images in high resolution (300dpi) for printing and a lower resolution (72dpi) for online sharing.
Your online gallery allows you to download them all (which I recommend you do).
You also have the option of ordering prints direct from the gallery if you like. They are linked to an excellent print lab to give you high quality prints.
When do you start and finish?
I arrive approximately 2 hours before your ceremony to capture the bridal preparations and then go on to meet the groom and guests arriving for the ceremony.
I leave after I’ve caught a good bit of your evening party! I want those dance floor shots!
